1. Where a player is unable to play, the team may play with the three remaining players, the first two players delivering three stones each end; OR the player who is unable to play may be replaced with a spare. The spare will play lead stone and the remaining players will move up in position.
2. A team must consist of two regular players and shall not play under any circumstances with fewer than three players. In the case of two spares and two regular players, the spares must play lead and second positions. Spares cannot hold the broom or call the game.
3. Friday Night, Monday Night, Wednesday Night, and Sunday Night leagues are open leagues with no gender restrictions.
4. Teams consisting of more than four players must have the 5th player registered with the office prior to October 31st in each curling season. The registered players may be used and played at any position. Any changes in permanent teams after October 31st in each curling season must be registered with the office. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of any games/games played where a player is not so registered.
5. All leagues will play to a one hour and fifty minute bell, finish the end in progress and play one more end. An end is considered completed when all stones for the end in progress have come to rest.
6. All leagues, with the exception of the Tuesday Men’s league, play to a tie. The Tuesday Men’s league will resolve a tie by playing a full extra end.
7. A team unable to play a league game at the scheduled time loses by default unless by mutual agreement the game is rescheduled with the Club Manager and played prior to the end of the block.
8. If there is a delay in the start of the game, one point will be awarded to the non-offending team for each ten minutes. The non-offending team will be awarded the hammer. If there is a delay of more than 30 minutes, the offending team will forfeit the game.
9. The first block in each league of the season will be a random draw with teams being seeded into future blocks depending on total points. If two teams are tied at the end of a block and one team has defeated the other, this team will advance to the higher standing. If a clear winner cannot be determined, the team to advance to the higher standing will be determined by random draw.
10. In the event that two or more teams are tied for total points at the end of the season, the play-off positions will be determined by the 'for and against' record during the season teams involved. If a clear record cannot be determined, the skips of the teams involved will throw one stone each, closest to the button, with Canadian Curling Association sweeping rules to be applied, to determine play-off positions.
